Chocolate and Banana Chia Pudding

Guilt free, gluten free goodness in a jar! This chia pudding is delicious, filling, and packed with health benefits. Just prepare before going to bed and you have yourself a treat to wake up to!

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 1/8 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

  • 2 cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (or any non-dairy milk of your choice)

  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 6 tbs Chia Seeds

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

  • Milk Chocolate Shavings for topping

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mash two bananas.

  2. To the bowl, add the almond milk, vanilla extract, chia seeds and maple syrup.

  3. Split the mixture in half and divide among two bowls.

  4. In one half add cocoa powder and whisk.

  5. Split the half without the cocoa powder into four jars/mason jars.

  6. Slice up the third banana and arrange the slices in the jars.

  7. Then add a layer of the cocoa powder mixture to the top of the jars.

  8. Sprinkle milk chocolate shavings to the top and add toppings of your choice.

  9. Cover and refrigerate overnight and enjoy in the morning!
